Mask and Wig members are the kids who have worked night after night for weeks be- fore opening night to bring about perfection. Under the direction of Mr. Metzner, we have started our wardrobe department. After soliciting possible costumes from people in town, many girls spent their spare time sewing for our first costume play, Victoria Regina. With the co-operation of all the crews, make-up Cunder the guiding hand of Miss Lemanj, lighting, costume, props, and stage crew, we have gained experience in all phases of dramatics. i MAKE-UP CREW- STANDING: Fuller, Swan, Korn, STAGE CREW - TOP ROW: Spaulding, Smith, Christian- Baunlilafd- Mlffhell, 016500, Zietlow, Christoph, Davigsl son, Davies, Gronewald, Schwartz. Sh! - Scratching Pens, Literary Minds At Work PEN 'N' INK IOARD - Lowry, Erd- mann, Mrs. Metznet, Michalski, McKinnon. PEN 'N' INK To be concluded next week - and in the meantime we'll fix up the plot, go over the gram- mar, and polish up the dialog. After all we're writing for a very critical audience who are would- be writers themselves, the members of the Pen 'n' Ink club, to be exact. And with the pointers that are offered in our weekly sessions, we learn to analyze our writing faults and to attain fluency in written expression. Anyone interested in creative writing and who has a little ability are welcome to join Pen 'n' Ink. Our chief responsibility is the publishing of our annual magazine. Stories submitted by English teachers and Pen 'n' Ink members are judged by Lois Erdmann, editor-in-chief and Tom Michalski, literary editor. Together with our adviser Mrs. Metzner they prepare our contribution to the literary life of our school. Il6l 11: :ri PEN 'N' INK - TOP ROW: Michalski, Wagner, Yatzeck, Keyes.
