These new costumes were made possible by the Pep Commission who also planned the pep assemblies. On Saturday night you are certain to find the school ablaze with lights, and teenagers happily dancing. An ambitious group of about 100 stu- dents who belong to the Rec Dance Commission help to plan these dances. The C-4 Commission with the help of the Cour- tesy Cat reminds us to practice courtesy around the clock and especially at school functions, as Senior night, planned by the Guidance Commis- sion to aid students in finding a career. CARDINAL STAR Rushing here and there is the usual hustle bustle activity seen in the Cardinal Star office. Eagerly read features are Editor Barbara McKin- non's Barbed Bits and Charlie Mclntoslfs Column As I See lt on the sports page. Last spring the Star Staff was reorganized and page editors were eliminated. This new system already has proved its efficiency. Taking care of the make-up of the pages are jo Bralick and Shirley Huebner. News editors are joanie Normington and Pat Shaw. The sports page is covered by Wayne Kirchoffer and Rod Vilmur, editorials, Tom Michalski and features, Bob Keyes. Under the supervision of Mrs. Lee our adviser Qin- Cidentally, new this year at W.1-l.S.J we manage to survive the rigors of publishing a newspaper and before we know it, we are again checking assign- ments for the next issue.
