Councils Bargain for SR. STUDENT COUNCIL To be or not to be was the question the Student Council must decide. They found it was possibie to have honor study halls, and looked on with great pride when students could take care of themselves. The council took Mr. Schwan's advice as they imitated Sherlock Holmes in attempt- ing to solve other school problems. Bill Peterson and John Koehler shared the of- fice of president. Other of- ficers who did business ac- cording to Hoyle were: Phil Sheridan, Bob Breese, Fred Bertoloet and Mary Harris. SR. HONOR SOCIETY LSSCeNot a new govern- ment agencyenor on ad for a certain cigarettewbut letters on the Senior Honor Society pin which stand for: Leadership, scholarship, ser- vice and character. Under the direction of Miss Fardy, adviser, and John Koehler, president; the members dec- orate the Christmas tree in the hail, plan their annual banquet, and think up orig- inal bulletin boards. Mem- bers must have a 8 average, 30 honor points, and be passed upon by student and faculty committees.
