A total of 225 games will have been played before the season closes. a record that will vie with that of any other school in the state. The way in which the Minors took to basketball reminds one of the way ducks take to water. There was nothing to it at all. Coach Wes- terlund had but to issue a call and out of 36 boys 28 responded. a per- centage of 79. That's fine spirit for you. and real attitude toward athletics. lt is hoped that this minor spirit will not be on the down grade as these boys continue their climb toward Senior High. There is some likely looking material in this group and should go a long way toward making Coach Saubert's heart glad as they come to him for final conditioning. Some of the boys who showed up well were Joe Medina, Chester Birch. Little Dan McGeen, Earl Wolfe, Roy Redford, Eugene Bach, Cormel Inzeo, Dean Stelley, Bud Burtch. and Lloyd Hack.
