Mrs. julia Skntnitk. Miss Alice Carney, Mrs. Cora Pintavalle. Q Hungry students and teachers too, welcome the daily noon hour lunch break. 'l'he school cafeteria stands ready to serve the demands of the clamoring throng and a large percentage ol' the students and teachers take advantage ol' the efficient service and wholesome food provided at a nominal cost. There are five lunch periods, each twenty-live minutes in length. Fifteen women workers, all local house- wives, are employed on a part-time basis. 'l'hev work under the supervision ol' Mrs. Louise Love, cafeteria manager. An important area ol' the high school is the main- tenance and custodial department headed by Mr. lVilliani Carter, director ol' services, buildings and grounds. The twenty-live men and women on this stall' perlorm a most essential service in insuring the smooth operation ol' the physical plant within which the high school instructional program must function. Among the divisions ol' work assignments are: heating, cleaning, general and emergency re- pair, laundry, transportation, snow removal, lawn and landscaping, stage and classroom rearrange' ment, and waste disposal. The crews work on eight- hour shifts. Other members of the tnaintenance stall' not in picture are: Alvin Bassett, William Clark, Anthony Debevic, William Heister- kainp, Robert Huffman, 'l'oivo Kangas, Carl I,arson, Robert Learmont, Shavash Mugerdichian, john Niemi.
