l WTHS Must Serve Present And Future DR. MERLE Q The Board of Education is sincerely dedicated to the task of providing the best possible educational opportunity for all citizens of the township. WTHS insures the future by providing education for all youth who wish to learn. WTHS serves the present by offer- ing to adults one of the finest evening school programs in tl1e Midwest. Truly this school operates night and day, throughout the school year. Next September the West Campus building will be placed into operation. These added facilities will make I M. 15 KAUFFMAN it possible to serve the community even better than in the past. Replanning of curriculum and total program have been going on for several years in order to make the transition as effective and efficient as possible. This has been another good year at NVTHS. The record of accomplislnnent is spelled out in the pages of this book. That record is a real challenge to the underclassmen, and one to which the Seniors can point with pride. Every good wish accompanies the class of 1959 as they leave Waukegan High.
