Their work goes on all through the year in order that the school plant he kept in working trim. Under their care comes not only the classrooms and corrilors, but also the campus lawns, Walks, the drill Field, the, swimming pool, the gymnasium, the Weiss Field bleachers, field house, track and playing fields, as Well as the school heating and Ventilating plant. Office, lerical and Nuxiliarq Staff ITHOUT the help of the Office, Clerical, and Auxiliary Stali our school cou not be operated smoothly. This group consists of ofiice clerks, secretaries, the attendance and bookroom clerk and others. The school doctor and nurse Work to- gether to keep the boys and girls physically fit while they are in school. Dr. Rob- bins, the school physician, is not pictured here. Taking care of the information desk and the switch board are two of the many duties of the receptionist. With the assistance of her staff, Mrs. Louise Love, cafeteria manager, prepares delicious and nourishing meals daily for the students and teachers. The activities cashier has the job of collecting class dues, book bills, and other monetary duties. The attend- ance secretary has the responsibility of checking the attendance of the pupils each day. Not pictured with this group are Miss Rita Stefanich, who held the position of secretary in the lndustrial Office during the second semester, and Dr. R. H. Rob- ld bins, school physician. hlrs. It is a part of the philosophy tlla young people will learn through activity, and that schools teach attitudes and hehavio patterns as Well as specihc skills and knowledges. Student Council is a laboratory in Whicl democratic procedures and experienced leadership are developed, and characteristics of df pendability, initiative and compromise are learned. Waukegan! Council is composed 0 fifteen hoys and girls elected by their fellow students. They meet daily, fourth period with their advisor, Miss Eleanor Moore. ln addition to this administrative group, eac- class elects a class council which represents each homeroom. :za I
