?ranlzIin U. Zelun, 1117195 Principal FRANKLIN V. LEHN is completing his second year as Principal of W.T.H.S., having come here from a similar position at Norwalk, Ohio in 1950. The Principal,s oHice is re- sponsible for the direction of guidance activities, the program of classroom supervision and visitation, and the administration of the club and extra-curricular program. This ofhce has indirect custodial care of grade records, the administration of such auxiliary services as Library, Speech Correction, and Sight Saving, serves as a source of referral for special discipline and attendance problems, and the correlation of school-sponsored trips. Another important function of the Principal's office is that of a clearing house for ideas and problems of mutual interest to parents, students, and teachers. Two noteworthy changes this year have been those affecting the method of reporting and checking attendance and the method of conducting subject-registration. 14 f
