One of the several members of the office force is Thelma Larkin, secre- tary to the principal. Anyone calling the school is greeted by the pleasant voice of Rosiland Policcichio, switchboard operator. Also in the main office is Frances Sukekane, the registrar. Phyllis Larkin takes care of the book room while Iea- nette Halward is attend- ance clerk. Lorraine F Iurach is in charge of the information desk. Mr. Struck, guidance director, has a very capable secretary in Miss Lois Reed. These girls are all your friends and are always wil- ing to help. To our delight when school opened this fall we had a new cafeteria. No longer did we have to eat in the dark, cramped basement of the old building. Instead we now had a light colorful room. The dining hall will seat about 450 people. A plate lunch consisting of a main dish, salad, dessert, milk, and bread and butter, costs the students only 3Uc. A la Carte dishes, including hot dogs, salads, soup, assorted sandwiches, and desserts, range in cost from lO to 20 cent. The cafeteria also provides a separate dining room for the faculty. dance but a stage on which a band can play. ,- ,......n,,,.,,W it ,, The cafeteria provides a wonderful big place to hold school dances.
