Watsonville's high school students are proud. They are proud of the part those their schoolmates of a few semesters past . . . a few years past . . . have played and are playing in this great struggle of mankind to rid the world of a foul disease. With others of our own great country and of our brave allies, our boys have bled and died in battle. We who have remained here are not unmindful of them. We are so proud that words are only futile.
