'lil-, 117.1 We the class of Nineteen Hundred and Fifty Eight bestow the dedication of this edition of the Warrior on MR. JOHN E. CORMAN For five years Mr. Corman has been a symbol of education to the graduating class. During his career at W.H.S., he has been a teacher, coach, and adviser. Mr. Corman possesses a remarkable knowledge of the subjects he teaches. This display of knowledge has inspired us, and pre- pared us to meet and accept the outside world. Not only is Mr. Clorman an excellent teacher, but an outstanding coach as well. His philosophy in sports can be applied to life also: More important than to win is to play the game and play it well. For all these reasons, and many more, the graduating class has chosen Mr. Corman their Man of the Year. PRlNCIPAL'S MESSAGE To the Graduates: There are many steps on the ladder to success. You have now reached the time in your life that you are ready to take the first step. You will find at times that the ladder is quite steepg sometimes the steps are far apart. Many of these obstacles can be overcome by hard, honest work. Aim for the top and always keep plugging. Hamblm DEDICATIO The Class of 1958 is proud to dedicate The Warrior to a very kind and thoughtful faculty member who has helped us along our hard journey toward graduation. MR. MENGES has given us guidance and advice with a sincere interest in our class activities and in our personal well-being. So it is with grateful hearts and sincere gratitude that we dedicate this publication of the The Warrior to MR. S. LEE MENGES. The graduation of the class of '58 signifies the passing of an era, for in the commencement exercises this year the last Turbotville graduate will pass through our school's portal. However, as in all of life. that which marks the end of one phase, also marks the beginning of another. We who are directly connected with the school will be think- ing in terms of a new school and of a new school year. You, who are graduating, are thinking of the place in societv which you will now be expected to fill. I suggeslt that it be- hooves each and every one of us, graduate, underclassman, parent and teacher to have faith in the future which is ours to make. Enter this new phase with confidence in yourself. trust in your fellow man, and assurance that your life will reflect the effort of these past six years. Let me wish to each of you the best in everything as you go into your respective worlds of tomorrow. Sincerely, joseph H.
