Key Club The Key Club is primarily a service club which sets as its goals projects which benefit the school and the community. The club promotes the ideals of good citizenship, goodwill, re- sponsibility, and leadership. Through participa- tion in the many projects each individual as the opportunity to gain many valuable educa- tional experiences and to realize the self-satis- faction associated with helping others. The Ke Club which is sponsored by t e Kiwanas Club strives to insure a community awareness within each member and build future leaders for our communit and nation. The club members must meet rigid academic standards to qualify for membership. They must also maintain high citizenship averzitges and participate in all club activities. The ey Club annually serves as ushers for all school musicals and graduation excercises. The club co-ordinates teacher appreciation week, the an- nual Tornado Day parade and sells parking permits for the school parking lots. T e club annually aids the salvation army in their Christmas bell ringing activities and serves on many community projects as the need arises. National Honor Society The National Honor Society pro- motes character, service, leadership, and scholarship. During a special pro- gram in the spring and at graduation, academic letters are presented to the qualifying members. Senior members are given seals for their diplomas.
