Student Council Members ofthe R.H. Watkins High School, Student Council are elected by the student body and faculty. The rais- ing of and maintaining of school standards, encouraging of increased school spirit and the developing of greater lead- ership abilities through student participation are the main goals of the Student Council. This year, as in every year, the Student Council has been very busy, being the sponsor of Tornado Day, the Student Council works hard to see that everyone participates in all Homecoming activities. A Spirit-Chain contest was held and Sweethearts were presented flowers and gifts by the Council. Career Day was held and sponsored by the Student Council in cooperation with the Guidance Department.
