1977 Tornado Tennis tif The 1977 Tennis team completed a highly successful season. The team, under the direction of Coach Doug Boler, posted a record of six wins, four losses and two ties. Alice Christian placed second in the state and became the overall Big 8 Champ. Central Big 8 winners were Duncan Stone and Jeff Davis in Boys Doubles, Tina Caves and Kenny DuBose in mixed doubles. In District 5 competition, Alice Christian triumphed. Laura Lindstrom and Kelly Tyrone won Girls Doubles, but were runners up in statewide competition. Al Taylor was a runner up in Boys singles.
