DECA The R.H. Watkins DECA Chapter was the top club in the state for the sixth straight year. They also finished sixth in national competition at Chicago. Gloria Butler and janet LaVigne entered in Chapter of the Year com- petition and finished first in the state qualifying them for national competition. Also winning at state and quali- fying for national were: joan Maslanka, job Interview and Department Store Merchandising, Susan jarvis and Patty Sanford, Retail jewelry lndustry, Connie jones, Specialty Store Merchandising, Sandy Kennedy, Merchandise ln- formation, and Beth Loper and Mary Windham, Variety Store Merchandising.
