Jeff Gascon keeps busy during Auto Shop A NEW YEAR This was the year of many and various changes within our school district. We felt, as students, that some were improvements, and some were better left as they were. First and foremost was the new scheduling of classes. The old ABC system used in the past was discarded. In its place, a Monday through Friday plan was instituted. New faces in the faculty and staff greeted us all year. A new computer room added to the enjoyment of several students. The frees for Juniors and Seniors were eliminated and replaced by honor passes for Seniors only. A discipline code was constantly on peoples’ minds. Students want to know what is expected of them, and directions to follow. In years to come, there will be evidence of the new New York State Regents Plan. There will be changes in curriculum to meet these needs. However, basically, the students remain the same. There will always be studying, fun, laughter, and the serious talk among them. In this, our 1985 yearbook, we have shown ourselves as we are and as we follow our new directions. Opening 3
