Dedication This year our yearbook is dedicated to three very loyal and dedicated teachers. Over 70 years is represented in the time they have given to the Watkins Glen students. Max Moore, our fearless driver education instructor began at Watkins Glen in January 1956. For 29Vi years, he maintained a cool, calm, and collected manner, while we students continued to wreck havoc on the highways. Elaine Stevens joined the high school faculty in 1962, teaching the English language and her love of the classics, novels, and plays. This year she was head of the English Department. Ruth Warner began at Watkins in 1967 in the home economics department. Then joined the math department, instilling in unwilling brains the facts and figures needed to pass the Regents courses. In recent years, she has been head of the math department. Mrs. Warner explains a problem to a student. Dedication 9
