Mr. Warren is desperately trying to conquer the beast! THE NEW TEACHING STAFF The 1984-1985 school year brought many changes in our faculty and staff. Missed are the members who have retired, moved, or gone on to other districts. Plenty of new faces were seen in the classrooms and halls. There was almost a complete turnover in the math department. Ray Thomas came over from the Middle School. Diane Melvaney replaced Ian Pitcairn who returned to Scotland. Miss Brownell took over for Ruth Warner who is retiring. January brought the most changes. Joe Stratton left to teach in Corning and was replaced by Michelle Margeson. Nancy Loughlin resumed her own studies and Mrs. Notarnicola took over teaching French. Richard McIntyre left our district and Rick Frost began in the Industrial Arts department. To add to the list Virginia Butts transferred to the Middle School and Katie LaMoreaux came to the High. Scott Harlow moved away from Watkins Glen, and Donna Webster took over in Accounting. Even our cafeteria showed a change in management. Jim O'Brien returned to his Town House business, and Donna Allen took on the job of cafeteria manager. With all these many changes, the students continue to learn. We have an excellent faculty to teach, listen to. and laugh with us. Faculty 7
