MR. GERALD LOUGHUN 3 To combine the mind and body into a personality, to build a rapport between intellect and education, to understand rather than to merely memorize; these are the goals of our high school years. In the trying period of social stress and economic strain, youthful high school graduates are confronted with a marvelous world of boundless opportunity. At the end of a difficult period of study and reflection, the open pathways of the world stand before you. The practical beginnings of a constructive life of purpose are already in the process of germination. The realism of doing things and the possibility of achieving objectives are clearly and definitely defined. To build a career of service, success and happiness, both in the interest of society at large and one's self, becomes an ultimate ambition. Principal 9s Message Jack R. Terry Whatever you do, do well. Always justify the faith of society in your integrity by constantly striving to improve the social and economic order. Develop higher and better standards of performance in every task to which your efforts are committed. Be kind, sympathetic and understanding. Stand for principle, honor and service. Your Alma Mater believes in you. Justify that trust by good deeds and successful achievement. My best wishes are wholeheartedly extended to each and every member of the graduating class of 1966. 6 JUNIOR HIGH Entering the fabled world of a teenager ... finding some of the myth false.
