October 4- We defeat Corning in second game 7 - Frankfort meets defeat. 14 - We wallop Vermillion. 21 - Summerfield receives a beating 25 - Dramatic Club has a costume party for those interested in Dramatics, 23 - We defeat Seneca November 5 - Corning takes punishment 4,5 - State Teachers meeting we get a much deserved vacation. 7 - WNW Club has a grand old party. ll- Waterville battles against B.R. 12 - Band traverses to Manhattan. 17 - Dramatic Club presents Junior High play, nTcm Sawyer.' 18 - Future Farmers give entertain- ing party. 24- Waterville meets defeat for the first time to Marysville, 24,25,26,27,- Thanksgiving gives us another vacation. December 8- Out first basketball game of the season with Irving. 13 - we play Barnes here. 16 - Basketball game at Centralia. 17 - All-School party uninteruptcd Page A by scarlet fever. 21 - High School Operetta scores a hit, nRose of The Danube.u 23 - Christmas vacation relieves weary minds and hearts. The weeks of prepara- :ion are over and the book is yours. We are through asking for photographs, in- ?ormation, and activity data. We hope :hat the book is all that you expected-- and more. The entire book is made up by the staff, and the annual is then made from nur dummy by the process known as plan- mgraphing. Although the planotype calls ?or much work and takes considerable sime, it offers a very fine chance for student initiative. we extend our sincere appreciation zo our advisor, Miss Geyer, who very rillingly helped us to complete this :ook successfully. Many hours of her :ime were devoted to this work. We wish to acknowledge our debt to 'ur superintendent, Mr. Ireland, who upervised the business details for us. To the Planograph Yearbook Company if Topeka, Kansas, for the splendid work hey have given us, we also express our ,ppreciation. We are sincerely grateful for the nterest and the cooperation that Mr. 'inley, our photographer, has shown us hroughout the entire time. And in conclusion we thank those students and teachers who gave us photo- graphs and snap shots to add to the interest of our book.
