Students from this class take part in many of the clubs and organizations in school. we will find sophomores in the Taste and Baste Club, Pep Club, Glee Clubs, Hobby Club, W Club, Future Farmers Association, Garrick Group, and Band. This class can also boast of some promising athletes among the boys. There are thirty-five students enrolled in the Junior Class of Waterville High School. This number includes twenty girls and fifteen boys. The class is an outstanding one in W.H.S. as in indi- cated by the number of activities its members take part in. we find at least two in each of the following organizations: Band, Cheer-leaders, W Club, Pep Club, Taste and Baste Club, Garrick Group, F.F.A., and Girls' and Boys' Glee Clubs. This class is well represented in the various sports--- football, basketball, and track. These people have chosen blue and white for their class colors and the sweet pea for their flower. The class of 1942 is an outstanding class in many ways, Members of the freshman class are to be found in nearly every organization in high school. High scholastic ratings are held by many of these students and many of them take an active part in athletics. This class has a total of 55 students, 14 boys and 21 girls. Of the total number 20 students entered this class this year from the rural communities. The class colors are purple and white.
