While enjoying ourselves we have also added to our store of knowledge. We hope that as juniors we will fare as well. SALADES Participation in many extra-curricular activities has left numerous vacant seats in our homeroom during every seventh period. Band and orchestra have caused the greatest number of these. Some of our outstanding musicians are: David Coggeshall with his drums, and Fred Townsend and Louis Langone, the trumpet players. Chorus is very popular with most of the girls and they par- ticipate in this twice every week. Service Club, Leaders' Club, Radio Club and many other organizations have satisfied our interests in other fields. ENTREE The event everyone in our class eagerly looked forward to was our dance at Thanksgiying. the Turkey Trot. Each of us had a delightful time dancing to the music of Andy Albrighfs Orchestra. . LEGUMES Nothing is enjoyed as much by all of us as the sports activities. Both boys and girls had intramural teams which competed in different fields. We are extremely proud to have such a large representation of Sophomores in the Boy's Varsity Foot- ball. Basketball. and Baseball Teams. GLACES Regents! This is what everyone of us has waited for all year. It will be the first meeting with them for most of us, and we all are a little skeptical of what they will be like. We are all waiting anxiously for them and hoping for the best.
