Harvard College, - ' Guidance Department The Guidance Department proved most valuable again this year to departing seniors, and advice con- cerning futures was well received. Although very busy with seniors, the Guidance Department was available to Juniors and Sophomores desiring assistance with programs or with conflicts with schedules. Counseling, planning programs and arranging college conferences for fourteen hundred pupils is difficult for only six people, and their ability and dedication is demonstrated by their successful results.

Folk, rock, and iazz. The rhythm of the Watertown High Music Department encounters all these at one time or another. On its way uphill, under the direction of Jack Hahn and with Joseph Cardello as its new band leader, the Music Department has revived a bit of the soul in all musicians and performers at W.H.S. Music is an unrestricted outlet for our reactions to the times, and is the form of free expression all of us want.
