DE DI CA TI ON The devotion of a man to his profession goes all too often unrecognized. Such devotion is quiet, frequently overlooked, and yet, as it exists within Mr. james McNicholas, very strong. The commitment of Mr. McNicholas to his career extends beyond academic subjects and into extra-curricular and comm unity activities. First and foremost a teacher of English, he strives to main tain the importance of a subject which students often consider boring and irrelevant. The ability of Mr. McNicholas to establish a warm rapport with his students through his humor and his am using stories is highly regarded. Mr. McNicholas's concern for the total student is shown by his involvement in sports, particularlyas coach of the golf team and as a director of the Gridiron Club. He also takes an avid interest in sports with which he is not directly concerned, and his attendance at many games is noted and appreciated. Being in vol ved as the Director of the March for the Retarded evinces his interest in all of us. So in appreciation of your being you, we, the Class of 1975, with respect and admiration dedicate our Annual to you, Coach james McNicholas.
