Miller. Yoga Club The Yoga Club is an introduc- tion to yoga exercises and thought, Yoga methods are 4000 years old and may be used by people of all ages. Through yoga, a person learns his own capabilities for meditation. Yoga improves a person's physical well-being and increases his per- sonal self-esteem. Biology Club The Biology Club has tried to get involved in different environmental activities. We have gone mountain climbing, camping, have par- ticipated in the Charles River cleanup, and other activities. 2---Fi .yNa1?f - Math Team The Watertown High math team competes in five ten-team math meets in the Greater Boston Math League each season. As an understate- ment, the problems are difficult and the competi- tion is rough. Pressures of stiff competition and a race with the clock compound the difficulties of the meets. Armenian Club For the past five years, the Armenian Club has been care- fully working for various purposes. Our maior proiect this year was a dance with the Belmont and Arlington Armenian clubs. Gridiron Club Although the football season ends in November, with the Thanksgiving Day game with Belmont, the Gridiron Club, sponsored by Coach Barbati, attempts to keep the interest in football going through- out the year. The club shows sports films, hears speakers from the athletic world, and aids the school with charitable works. The club membership is comprised of mem- bers of the football team and other inter- ested students. Basketball Club The purpose of the sports clubs at Watertown High is to create and sustain interest in their respective sports. Their activities in athletic and fund raising areas are an important part of the extra-curricu- lar activities of the school. Fitness of mind and body is their final goal.
