ALRIGHT O O O The cheerleaders started off with a new group of girls this year and they did quite well. From thinking up new ideas for the rallies and bringing baggies around to the football players, to spending Friday and Saturday nights during the winter months snuggled up in Mr. Gulla's bus, they never seemed to give up hope. They represented our school in an excellent way. FRONT: Diana Cronin, L to R: Kathy Ryan, Co-Capt. C016 Putting Out Coach McNicholas studies a shot. L to R, lst ROW: M. Nahigian, D. Herlihy, Coach McNicholas, 2nd ROW: A. Sbordone, J. McGaffigan, P. DiStasi, P. Pratt, M Warner, G. Sullivan. The W.H.S. golf team, under Coach McNicholas, had a respectable season, though they lacked experienced players. This year's team was largely made up of underclassmen, with the exceptions of Dave Herlihy and Marty Nahigian. Both Dave and Marty were cited for their outstanding golfing at this year's awards assembly. They will be missed, but most of the team will return next year, for what they hope will be a successful season. S .l VA' 5 'ai ' ..,.
