These characteristics are the ideals for which the society stands. The socie- ty's purpose is, therefore, to create an incentive for the development of these characteristics in each student so that he may achieve a moren early perfect personal and community life. The society's affairs are limited by the nature of the organization and by the fact that most of its members are active in other school activities. However, during the past year, in addition to conducting the customary induction ceremony for new members on May 8, the society held an assembly during Education Meek. The society also sponsored a f'Blid- year Hop featuring Baron Hugo's music. Blembers are very grateful to Bliss Blc- Xally, Blrs. Thulin, and Blr. Bloody who helped in preparations for this dance. Blr. Reed is, by virtue of his posi- tion, automatically the head of the Salton- stall Vhapter and Bliss Jacobs is chairman of the faculty committee. Bliss BlcNally has charge of correspondence, and our Bulletin Board, in charge of Bliss Randall, has attracted pupils with its pictures, quotations and articles. Throughout the year, under the supervision of Blr. Adams, members have aided in the war stamp drives. l72l L AZ
