John NlcNealy f elf! 141.4 , , 'A lff'f1r'l1zl:g for ilu' stars, Hob? l With ranks depleted by graduation and by the transfer of three regulars to private schools, the 1946 racqucteers found only two veterans returning and were faced with an uphill fight. However, the call for candidates brought out some very fine material. Since the Suburban League did not resume its schedule, matches were played with familiar rivals among whom were Belmont, Xeedham, Newton, lYinchester, Lex- ington, and Hingham. Led by Bob Dodge who was number three man in the '45 State Tourna- ment, the team upheld the record of its predecessors who had lost but one match in three years.
