Disco Fever Hits WHS Instead of the usual live band atmosphere, this year's Homecoming Dance was a disco. The students respond- ed to the disco well, staying longer than usual and taking part in a lot of dancing in the midst of a Gosling victory. Steve York of WISN radio was the guest disc jockey for the dance. He played everything from polkas to rock n' roll. He also added a few comments between songs. The theme of the Homecoming dance was Starlight Disco which attracted 150-200 couples, making the dance a huge financial success and enjoyable to the student body. The court was picked differently this year. The stu- dents voted on the five women who represented them and the football team selected the male participants of the court. l.
