Determine The Direction . . . Throughout our years of school we make many friends. We call them on the telephone, we ask for help in English, and we try to get in the same classes. We do everything together. But we all are individuals and have our own direction. The direction in which we go is determined by our goals. Some of us move forward, still searching for the things we want. The rest of us fall back on things that we have always wanted to do. After graduation our direction might lead us to college or to a job. Are you going to be a successful executive, a mechanic at a gas station, a housewife, . . . '? Down the Path of Life . . . Remember when everyone told you what you had to do when you were little? You always had to follow their direction. Now that we are in our last years of high school, some of us are starting to finalize our goals. We're making decisions for ourselves. We've decided whether to go to college or not. We may have found a job. No matter what decisions we make, they are very important in determining our direction. The things we do in high school are only part of the direction we follow through life.
