A l . In the fall of 1953 Watertown High School opened its doors to us. lt was really fun getting to know all of our classmates who have lived in our town, but until now were total strangers. Many of these strangers be- is came our best friends. The big thrill of our freshman year was the winning of first prize on our float for Homecoming. Our Sophomore Dramatic Club spelled success when it presented Puss-in-Boots at the grade schools. Sports played an important role for many of us in our junior year. When prom time came everyone was busy working on a southern plantation, the setting for our theme, Deep Purple . Not any of us will ever be able to forget OUR PROM. Looking back over our years at Watertown High School, we seniors feel that our lost year has proved to be a prac- ticing ground for our life after graduation. This being election year, we discussed, in American Problems classes, the difficulties that face our country. And in November we obtained practical experience by participa- ting in a mock presidential election. Four wonderful years passed too swiftly and we, the class of l957, truly say we will always be true to the memories of you, Watertown High. l 04 Z8 V002 -QI R! endow President ...... Don Draheim Vice-President . . . Larry Rehbaum Secretary. . . Suzanne Edwards Treasurer . . Janice Huebner American Problems Panel Discussion November 6 - Election Day
