Debbie Hanson. ■ ' The girls ' tennis team did all right—but they ' re going to be great next year! Tennis gives you good exercise. I can ' t judge how they did because I didn ' t hear any thing about them — maybe they need more publicity. Tennis is a great sport because it takes a lot of skill and energy to play it. They were fan- tastic. GIRLS ' TENNIS Opponent West Marshalltown 1st Wat. We need more practice and experience, but the team tried its best. They need to play more — es- pecially in the summer so they will im- prove. I thought Andy Holden was the strong point of the team, but the team as a whole showed a lot of enthusiasm, considering nine tenths of the girls were beginners. I think we can make it to state next year — or die trying! BELOW— Girls ' Golf Team— Front Row: Andy Holden. Pam Sutton. Pam Fitzgerald, Mem Weiland. Back Row: Coach Dick Christy. Cheryl Balabon.
