Many Work for Happy Homecoming Homecoming began early SepTember 30 wiTh a pep breakTasT aT Bishop's CaTeTeria. LaTer sTu- denTs wenT To class Through halls decoraTed wiTh crepe paper and posTers while 'The pep band played. The pep assembly was sixTh hour. Dave Thompson, represenTing The class oT l957, spoke, urging BeaT Mason CiTy! Wahawk princesses Jane Bragdon, Sue DavenporT, Laurie Howland, and Ginny Tice were presenTed by Tom Beener. SenaTe presidenT. The princesses had been selecTecl Trom Ten semi-TinalisTs including Janice DaugheriTy, Carol Edwards, Cheryl Hanson, Becky Loomis, Nancy Miller, and Phyllis PrenTice. The A-Chorus mum commiTTee, headed by RoberTa Buck, sold 400 homecoming mums. Game Time broughT a baTTle on The TooT- ball Tield ending. in a 7-O loss To Mason CiTy.
