PRODUCTION 83 WATEKLCC PUBLIC SCUCCL WATECLCC, NEBRASKA 19§2 — 83 Students ........................ 3 Faculty and Administration ..... 27 Sports ......................... 33 Organizations .................. 51 Activities ..................... 63 1 PRODUCTION 1983 by Cami Stenglein The last week of summer came very fast, This was the time for one last bash! Mr. McMahon once again gave the call, He started the countdown back to school for fall. The day finally came and with it much glee, Lights! Camera! Action! PRODUCTION '83!!! Some students groaned, “Oh, not again!’’ Others shouted, “Come on! Let’s begin!” The football and volleyball teams felt great, Of course we all know the PANTHERS rate! Everything was crisp, new and clean; New books, shiny floors, and clean desks were seen. Our Homecoming this year had Dreams for a theme, Scott Feldhacker was king and Katie Lavigne was queen. Waterloo alumni attended the game to show they care, And blue and white spirit balloons floated through the air. Let me take this time to see, The Seniors in the class of '83. They won the spirit stick, to their elation, Their dream decorations were the school's admiration. From November to February was the winter sports season. It was fun to cheer inside while outside it was freezing. Our basketball players performed well on the courts, And all must agree that wrestling is an exciting sport! March saw the end of the winter storms, Spring promised life and the weather got warm. The Seniors realized it was only a month or so to graduation, And the other students looked forward to summer vacation! Next came Prom, party, and dance, This was the Juniors big chance. They had worked hard all year, To provide a Prom the Seniors would cheer. Many said their tearful good-byes in May, And the Seniors promised to meet again one day. The year was memorable, as anyone could see, In this, the PRODUCTION Of 1983. Seniors Row 1:Tami Smith, Teresa Byrom, Melissa Forsythe, Kelly Barnes, Sake. In the play, two spinster sisters, Jessica, Aimee Walvoord, and Emmie, Connie Embrey, are trying to do away with their mother, Cathy Le-Grande, so that they will have all the money that was left by their father. The one catch is that there is no money. At the Districts, the play scored a ‘Good’ and at ECNC, they received an ‘Excellent’. This page was sponsored by ROB-SEE-CO, Waterloo, 779-2531.
