HOMECOMING Ki na l erC °m®comin9 Candidate; Buddy Walvoord, Homecoming Candidate; Brad Safford, Homecoming Candida 53 taUb Homecoming Queen; Sheryl Schurman, Homecoming Candidate; Diane Villwok, Homecoming It is a silent, hopeful smile of a princess The bashful grin of a prince. A time when dreams and hopes become reality. Bright faces and voices shouting, it is pride, loyalty And the quality that makes men and women out Of boys and girls. The roar of a crowd, smiling blue-white. The gay, anticipating groups filing into an auditorium-Now a regal throne room. Behind it-the butterflies, the mounting hopes As some boy and girl wait for their moment . Squinting into a glaring spotlight, a trembling Smile, attentive, waiting . . . Then he is King and she is his Queen, The royalty of Waterloo from a group that was Regal in itself. The years may pass-and kings and queens With them; But Homecoming '77 will shine in the stardust Of all our fondest memories. 43 BAND CONCERT BAND.
