FACULTY J. A. J IVERSON--SUPERINTENDENT Birthplace—Meltinville, Kansas. Mr. Jlmerson graduated from Liberty, Nebraska High School. A.B. received from Peru State Teachers College; M A. and Ph. D. from the University of Nebraska : jgraduate student from Columbia University. Teacher and principal in Gage county, Nebraska, Superior; superintendent at Shelby, Edgar, Stromsburg, Auburn; Executive Dean, Peru State Teachers College. Veteran of orld Wars One and Two, serving as a Captain, Major and Lieutenant Colonel. He retired as Colonel, S.S.U.S.A.R In orld War II he served in various positions IncluL lng; Director, College raining Program, U.S. Air forces. Education, Staff Officer European Theatre of Operation; Staff Officer Headquarters, ar Eastern Command; taff Officer, War Department U.S. Army. LEO.J• RYAN Mr. Ryan was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, but grew up in Andover, Massachusetts. He attended high school at Campion, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Later, he attended Bates College, Lewiston, Maine, and from there he went into the Navy, where he spent three years. While in the Navy he attended the bniversity of Notre Dame, and later spent a year aboard a submarine in the Pacific. Upon his discharge from the service ne attended Boston College, and later Creighton University where he received his B.S. degree. He taught Physical Education in Omaga prior to his coming to Waterloo. At the present he is working on his Master’s Degree which he expects to receive this year. This is his second year at Waterloo, where he is principalaand coach of the high school. HALLIE J7VFRS0N--COMMERCIAL Birthplace—Apache, Oklahoma. Mrs. Jimerson graduated from Oklahoma College for Women. She was business instructor at tbs Colorado Women’s College, yenver, Colorado; Compton College, Compton, California. or three years Mrs. Jimerson was Resident Manager of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company at San Diego, California. Before coming to Waterloo, Mrs. Jimerson had been teaching at Army Education Centers in the Far East Command. She now holds B.S. and M.A. degrees• PEARL HERRINGTON Birthplace--Washington, Nebraska Mrs. Herrington attended Waterloo High School and also went to college 81 Nebraska Wesleyan and Midland. She has taught eleven years in ouglss County Schools. She is teaching the 3rd, 4th and 5th here. ETHEL KID ALTON Birthplace--Arapahoe, Nebraska. Miss Knowlton has attended school in Eandall, Kansas, and attended college in Pittsburgh, Kansas, he has taught twenty-five years in «andall, Kansas, Oak Hill, rural schools and Waterloo. She is teaching the Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd here at the present time. Mrs. Geiser Birthplace--Berwyn, Nebraska Mrs. Floyd Geiser graduated from Tekamah High School and attended college at Dana in Blair. This is Mrs. Reiser first year of teaching. She is teaching the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades here at Waterloo.
