Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends St John 15 15 Amer1ca's sons who rest in heroes' graves overseas have given a fre h meaning to American life This meaning would be expressed by every Gold Star mother who could speak for millions by saying that this coun try wants peace and security, and hopes no more sons, Americans or of other nationality, will be sacrificed in battle In some of the overseas graves of Amer1ca's sons lie former Waterloo high boys They are far from home but they are not forgotten They met the test of patriotism and heroism They were MEN with the heart and the will and the courage t e stuff of which heroes are made They made the supreme sacrifice These valiant dead, like their brothers who fought and died on foreign soil would probably ask for no greater tribute than to know that their slumber will nevermore be broken by the thunder of cannon or the roar of planes carrying cargoes of death 'S1eep, sol dier, sleep I EIDE PUT? fl ig J Q Qi
