Dedication We, the Senior Class of 1959, wish to dedicate this forty-sixth volume of the Rosebud to Mr. Dove and Mrs. Love--To Mr. Dove who has guided us through our climatic year of high school; to Mrs. Love who has given so unselfishly of her time in the production of our class plays and the publishing of our annual. To these two we want to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude. Foreword To know, to esteem, to love,--and then to part, makes up life's tale to many a feeling heart.” --Samuel Taylor Coleridge For the past four years to most of us, for the past twelve years to many of us, the Waterloo school has been our life. Here we have spent our days in acquiring not only knowledge to equip us as educated young men and women but also in learning such essentials of living as mutual co-operation, understanding, and respect. Through our participation in classes and clubs, at ballgames and dances, on excursions and trips we have come to know each other as individual personalities. This book is the journal of our experiences, the record of the Class of '59. Here you will find us with our associates in the surroundings that have been essential parts of our waking hours for the major portion of our lives thus far. We came together on our first day at school as strangers; through the years as we came to know each other better, we developed a mutual respect and friendship; now, we part from each other with a sense of something lost for those who may never again come together.
