tee a “SA AWHS Phe Going to Palm Beach, Florida, whom do you think I met the very first tning? None other than Earl Kline and Margaret Fee Kline, who were on their second honeymoon. He and Margaret were married the first time about five years ago, but they agreed to disagree and Margaret got a divorce. Three months ago they both began teaching at Waterloo High, Barl is the athletic coach, and Margaret is the Orchestra and Band Director. Resuming old acquaintances they again de- cided to venture out upon the Sea of Matrimony. From Palm Beach I went to New York City. Visit- ing the Art Iluseum I came upon a very beautiful oil painting by the former Helen Newcomer, now the wife of an officer in King George VI personal body guard. Taking a bus to Philadelphia, I met Karl Starkey, who is a traveling salesman. He said that business had been rather bad, but he expected it to pick up a Little later ons I returned to Cincinnati by plane. When Zt started on my trip I left my home in charge of one of our leading interior Gecorators, Merlen Newcomer, with instructions to completely refinish it. I wish you could see it now. It is sinply beautiful. Don Turner, our most prominent dairyman, won the dairymen's contest that I told you was going to take place. He owns the largest dairy I believe I ever Sav. Thank you so much for telling me,about your opera debute. You can bet I'll be there right on the spot. Sincerely your friend, XY olema Ayers

Jack Forn has been a guide there for six ‘years now. He said that he likes his work very much. He wanted to be a forest ranger, but they didn't have a position for him then so they gave him a job as a guide. Going to Seattle by plane I met our old friend Miartha Bolinger. She was the stewardess of the plane. in Seattle, I réceivyed a telephone call one afternoon, It was from Geraldine Dixon. She is finishing her training in the Good Samaritan Hospital there. It was her evening off so she came over to my hotel room and we talked for hours. Running out of subject matter we tuned in on Otto McDonald's Hit Parade. He took Bing Crosby's place as America's most popular crooner. As a guest star he presented Derwood Smith the modern Robert Taylor. At Globe,Arizona where I went when bt left Seattle, I saw Rachel Smith, who has established a mission school there. Harry Johnson is a real-estate agent in Globe, and he seems to be quite prosperous. Wishing to see the sights of the city I telephoned the Globe Site Seeing Company. The guide who showed me around was none other than Carrol Leas, I chartered a plane, of which George Friend was piolt, from Globe to Eagle Pass, Texas on the Rio Grande. Donald BeVier and his orchestra The Blues Chasers entertain at a very popular night club in the city of Eagle Pass. : After spending a few days in Eagle Pass I went to Nashville. DeLoss Crooks and Bill Holman own and op- erate a large taxi cab concern in Nashville. While there I attended the W.S.M. Grand 91' Opera the lead- ing star being Helen Imler.
