Bnowu, Suwznvlsmc PRINCIPAL WATERLOO, NEW YORK Dear Members of the Class of 1944: The Class of 1944 has chosen a splendid symbol as the theme of this issue of the Skol- Yase. My wish to each member of the Senior Class is, that as the future unfolds, you will have navigated through dark and turbulent waters to happiness and success. Ocean liners set their course, and through the co-operation of the ship itself and the crew, cuts its way to port, overcom- ing every obstacle the sea can throw in its path. Safe anchor- age is achieved because the captain and crew knew where and how to reach the destination. Seniors, set yourself a glorious goal, let no obstacle, no matter how great, deter you. Train your mind, so that, as the captain directs his ship, it may direct your life to your goal.
