Eye The Business World J Getting on-the-iob training, approxi- mately 75 WTHS co-op students are placed in many of the local businesses. They attend classes, including co-op, in the morning, and work in the afternoon receiving a grade and two credits for the course, as well as their pay. Many students prepare for co-op and the business world by taking pre-retail- ing and other commercial courses. Badminton is played in class from February until the weather breaks for outdoor sports. W Miss Blair A . .3 1 sv z Girls in gym class are required to take tests on the rules and regula- tions of sports which they play. Sound Bodies Build Alert Minds Stressing cooperation and sportsmanship, girls in physical education class learn and play various sports. Through team- work and competition they work toward their four goals, knowl- edge, skill, sportsmanship, and good health. The year's schedule includes field hockey, speed-a-way, soc- cer, basketball, badminton, table tennis, softball, archery, and square and modern dancing. l 1, 3 Miss Vannorsdall Basketball is the most popular sport in the girls' physical educa- l tion classes.
