Kirk Gibson drives in for two, as Mark Collard gets ready for the rebound. Captains, Kirk Gibson, jim Webb, Mark Collard, john Corte, and Tim Weiss, clinch hands for victory. Captains have near perfect season Tim Weiss lays it up and in. This year's basketball team was packed with outstanding senior players. Tim Weiss was considered one of the five best players in Oakland County. He averaged close to 30 points a game. Kirk Gibson had the best re- bounding ability in the state as far as our fans were concerned. Mark Collard was a big help on rebounds and his key points. Bill Kurtz could beat any press with his dribbling and excelled with his jump shots from the key. Jim Webb and John Gorte have been great assets to the team. John played center as well as forward while Jim played guard and forward. The other Senior on the '75 varsity basketball team was Scott Taylor. Scott's position was forward on the team. This year's talent packed team kept Ketter- ing fans on the edge of their seats throughout the basketball season. This year's seniors may be the best players 'Kettering has ever graduated.

Girl cagers have mediocre season This years girls basketball team was much the same as other girls teams. . . enthusiastic, funlov- ing, .and perhaps a bit more dedi- cated and hard working stated Coach Lewis. Becky Corey and Anne Crowley made the all W-O first and second teams respectively. An honorable mention went to Teddi Hall. Anne Crowley had an individual high of twenty points in a single game. Becky Corey had the season high of 148 points. The team had five consecutive wins and a game high of 51 points. This years Co-captains were Lynn Strong and Becky Corey. Many of this years players will be re- turning next season to build an even stronger team.
