Kettering gridders With Senior Captains john Bauer and Bill Kurtz, the Kettering grid team ended the season with a four win four loss record. Kirk Gibson received the most valuable player award. Gibson also set a new school record of twenty-five running attempts gain- ing 311 yards in a single game. Others re- ceiving awards were Chet Muckenhirn, the Vince Lombardi Award and Mike Merritt the Optimist Award. Everyone knows the Kettering- Township crosstown rivalry.
