To further and improve skills in accounting and bookkeeping the Business Department offered an advanced bookkeeping course this past year. Due to a decrease in enroll- ment in business courses, busi- ness teacher, Mrs. Penny Ald- rich was transferred to Mason junior High. The Business Department does not consider itself a female oriented department since fel- lows are encouraged to enroll in business courses. Co-op Works This year there are twenty-six students in the Office Co-op Program. The main objective of the Department is to provide training in an of- fice situation With the student receiving money and credit in addition to the training. One of the main skills required is typ- ing. The students re- ceive Sl. 90 or more per hour and they may Work twenty-eight hours per week if they enrolled in four classes at school.
