Communication through research This year the English Department is co- ordinating certain English classes with some Social Studies classes. The main objective of the English De- partment is to train students in the areas of communication through reading and writing. There is an elective program that al- lows students to chose courses that will be helpful to them instead of the school choos- ing courses for them. The English courses include Mass Media, Creative Writing, ln- troduction to Literature and several other literature and Writing classes. This year's English staff includes Mrs. Ann Becks who has returned to Kettering following a year's absence. Cindy Cam, Ben Blevins, Craig Dean and Tami Richard- son participate in a discussion with Mr. Don Haley. Alan Carroll takes a piece of paper while Mrs. Bernice Smith puts a folder in the file.
