ROW THREE, Sandy Oertel, Mary Berg, Sue Weber, Pam Haney. ROW FOUR, Joanne Riharb. And the band plays on High Brass section of the band include, ROW ONE, jeff Terry, Wendy Wilcox, Sally Reid, Ines Hohlstein, Lorri Thompson and Cindy Foster. vs Members of the Trumpet section, Dave Denoyer, Vickie Wilson and Dennis Franks practice a number before a Pep Assembly. Band members spend as much if not more time practicing outside of class as they do in class. Time and effort is spent preparing for Solo and Ensemble Festivals as well as preparing for con- certs, marching, participating in Pep Band, jazz Band and performing for the public. Members of the Saxophone section, Tim Teagarden, Maynard Myers, Denise Tuson and trombonist, Tom Duffield, spend some time during class practicing for an upcoming concert. Assistant Band Director, Miss Judy Peters, studied saxophone at a French music conservatory and was able to lend some valuable assistance to members of the Saxophone section. Miss Peters joined the staff this year. Participating in the band is a year round ac- tivity. john Corte, Ronda Henson, Randy Thompson, Becky Espinoza, Gary Ferris, Pam McNeal, Tim Thompson, Kevin Fangel, Rob- in Rice and Glenn Polley spend part of their summer preparing for the marching season. Don Saylor was another member of this year's band members to perform at the Introductory Assembly.
