When this year's graduating class entered in the 1959-60 school year, it was the first new class to be added to WHS to form the complete four- year senior high school. The school had opened in 1956 with grades 7-9 which became the upper three grades by 1959-60. 0 The Class of 1963 was the first to have a special enriched program. Now the multi-track curriculum for the accelerated, college, business, general, and a more recently-added developmental group make it possible for students to take courses to answer C E E N D S their individual needs.
