VALEDICTORIAN SENIOR HONORS Top scholastic honors were won by Flora Beau- mont, valedictorian for the class of '58. Not only has Flora maintained the highest scholastic average dur- ing her four years at Waterford High School, but she has been active in many extra-curricular activities. She was a band member for four years, and during those years she attended massed band. As a fresh- man she was a member of Library Club and G.A.A.g during her junior year she was in chorus. She was business manager of the Emerald Annual in her sen- ior year. . , .w g - 3, , .f ' ...T-2 FLORA BEAUMONT i i . , SALUTATORIAN SCHOLASTIC AWARD Salutatorian honors for the class of '58 went to Curtis Routley whose scholastic average was second in the class. Curtis was active in forensics for three yearsg he was on the debate team as a senior. He was a member of the science club and the projector staff. SENICRS The officers this year were Chuck Tin- dall, president, Phil Paulson, vice-presidentg Nancy Halverson, secretary, and Joyce Sheard, treasurer. Judy Hruz and Dennis Dufenhorst represented our class on Student Council. Mary Adrian was the senior attendant on the Homecoming Court. Some of the activities of the class this year were dances and a cafeteria. The seniors presented the class play, The Curious Sav- age. The seniors also published the school paper, the Emerald Echo, several times dur- ing the year. Adrian, James--Jimbo-- Wonderful, wonderful Bay View High School in Milwaukee lost Jim to us in his junior year. After coming here, he participated in wrest- ling. In his senior year, he was active in football, dramatics, and forensics. JAMES ADRIAN Albrecht, David--Dave-- Dave came to us from Rochester his junior year. He played football and baseball for two years and belonged to the Lettermen's club. DAVID ALBRECHT MARY ADRIAN Adrian, Mary--Mo-- No, really? Mary transferred from St. Mary's Academy in Milwaukee in her junior year. She was the senior representative on the Homecoming Court of Honor and was a reporter for the Emerald Echo. DIANA ANDERSON Anderson, Diane--Di-- For pity's sake Diane was a member of Library Club for two years. In her junior year she worked on make-up for the class play. She also belonged to chorus. Her last year she was a member of the Hope Chest Club. -29- SHARIL ARNDT Arndt, Sharil--Dode-- Oh, George!! Sharil has participated in various class activities. In her junior year she was a member of chorus and in her senior year belonged to the Library Club. I l GLENN BEHRENS Behrens, Glenn-- Glenn played baseball his sophomore year. He was in the junior class play, and was a member of the Dramatic Club.
