28 'A REWARDING SEASON' Diann Farris felt that the 1982 Volleyball season was very rewarding. As a senior, it will stand out most in my mind as a season full of hard work and dedication. We all overcame many setbacks that could have been discouraging. After the Regional Tournament we all felt the hard work and dedication was well worth it. I would also like to say, on behalf of the team, a special thanks to Coach Mounts, who had to put up with us through thick and thin and he never gave up on us. Gaynell Glass exhibits her spiking ability against the Lake View Maidens.

Team Assistance Craig Chambers assumed many responsibilities when he decided to take the position of being the High School girls volleyball manager. The task appeared quite glamorous to the eyes of onlookers who saw Craig being the only boy with all those girls. But behind the scenes there were obligations beyond belief. He took responsibility of camera equipment and filming, hoping that the lighting was sufficient and the distance was accurate. He always seemed to catch all of our mistakes. He made several trips with the Volleyball team, including the long and exciting trip to Stephenville. He was a strong supporter and attributed his time and effort to assist Coach Mounts and the girls. 30
