Latin introduced to the Foreign Language Department... Spanish Honor Society added to school organizations ... Boys’ Chorus added in Music Depart- ment ... Watauga wins sportsmanship trophy . . . Thasos Sofo- cleous, Fulbright scholar from Nicosia, Cyprus, visits school. WATAUGA HIGH SCHOOL THAT WAS THE YEAR — 1969 Northwestern Conference championship in football... new activity bus purchased from magazine sale money . . . addition to new vocational wing begun ...
